Is there a possibility that native DualShock 4 controller support can be added to re3, reVC, and reLCS? It has DualShock button icons and controller type option in the Gamepad Settings but the ports don't recognize DualShock 4 controllers whatsoever from what I tried. I have a V2 controller wired via USB and nothing works.

Strange. SDL2 gamepad mapping is used for input and that should work. Did you make sure to copy the gamecontrollerdb.txt from gamefiles?

I did, I extracted all of the files from the zip archive of re3 to my GTA III installation and it didn't recognized the DualShock 4 controller. Is a SDL2.dll required because I don't see one in the download, neither in the releases tab or the nightly builds I've used.

Ok checked with the Discord and the Windows builds do not use SDL2 apparently (while Linux does so it worked when i tested it)

Give DS4Windows a shot. It'll make it appear as an Xbox controller which might trick it into working.

Input Mapper (latest 1.6.x version) did the trick for me (for a re3 release 1.0 version). But same outcome - appearing as an Xbox controller, but set the gamepad settings ingame to DualShock 4.

I also tried Steam Input wrapper and that seemed to trick the DualShock 4 as an XInput controller as well. I guess this issue can be closed then. Thank you guys for the suggestions.

I tried it but I see no option in the OpenGL version to change the controller prompts to DualShock.
